Pride Week

For as long as HIV Edmonton has been around we have been actively working side by side with the 2SLGBTQ+ community to raise awareness, challenge stigma and discrimination and build a diverse and inclusive community.  We don’t celebrate Pride only for a week or so in June, we ensure that our work with the community is year round!  Working with community partners such as Edmonton Mens Health Collective, Fruit Loop, Pride Centre and our longest partner, The Imperial Sovereign Court of the Wildrose, we are actively engaged in the work as it relates to HIV and health and wellbeing. 

June gets filled with Pride activities and we are often there to distribute safer sex information,  STI and HIV prevention messaging and tools and to simply enjoy the community spirit!  Keep an eye on our social media (@HIVEdmonton) on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram to know what’s up in the fabulous rainbow pride month of June!
